Only 90 minutes from Brisbane CBD and just 30 minutes north of Toowoomba on the Great Dividing Range, Hazelmont Cottage offers a relaxing, romantic and private getaway in the tranquil rain forest region of Ravensbourne.  The 1 Bedroom Cottage is an open plan design and caters for couples for romantic weekends away or the perfect country retreat for one... we'll supply the candles !  A continental breakfast basket welcomes you so you can whip up pancakes, cereal, fruit & fresh coffee in a well stocked kitchenette of microwave, skillet, toaster, kettle & outside BBQ.

Bathroom ensuite includes a rain shower and treating yourself with natural eco & body friendly Sukin shower products

Hazelmont Cottage is nestled in 12 acres of picturesque undulating hills and includes a natural remnant rain forest pocket on the property. Hazelmont Cottage is the quintessential rustic cabin in the woods "peace, pause, serene and a little piece of heaven" are some of the words that have been used to describe it by guests.

For nature lovers there's an abundance of bird life, a bird spotting list, bird guide & binoculars, a beautiful rain forest outlook, stunning evening skies or you can enjoy long rambling walks.

A favorite spot to relax & let the world go by is to sit on the rain forest deck or hill next to the cottage in Adirondack chairs to enjoy sunrise, dusk or night sky with a cuppa, glass of wine or book in hand ! We're not biased but we loved it so much we bought it !

You can spend your days day tripping or just kick back relax & unwind with a glass of wine, good coffee, book, board game & Bluetooth your music

Enjoy afternoon tea in the landscaped gardens or explore beautiful Ravensbourne National park just next door with a gourmet picnic of local food and wine. The area is a rapidly emerging foodie destination with local produce prominently featured from Blueberry, Rhubarb & Avocado farms to wineries and paddock to plate venues around the region

Ravensbourne National Park is only 3mins drive from Hazelmont Cottage and Emeraude a new micro region eatery specialising in local food is worth the short trip to Hampton

The Ravensbourne area supports over 80 species of natural bird life which includes Rainbow Lorikeets, Satin Bowerbirds and local Black-breasted Button-quails. Spectacular red-tailed and glossy black-cockatoos feed on Casuarina seeds in the open forest in winter. During the day you can hear the call of the green catbird or the spectacular Eastern Whipbird.

Visit the Information Centre at nearby Hampton and discover a number of local wineries and 4WD adventure trails.
